“ This place’s a gem! The owners run a local winery and this is a bar with mainly their wines. Their natural wines are amazing, and they’ve got all the trendy stuff, including orange / amber, carbonic ones, pet-nat, etc. The food is great too. Don’t miss this place! ”

“ This place doesn't look so fancy or that traditional inside, its little, no smoking allowed, however, it is great place to checkout for foreigners or people visiting Georgia for the first time. Georgias culture mostly involves wine and food. Food you can taste at other places, though wine here is pretty good. The owner is very nice guy who speaks english, russian and georgian. Maybe he speaks even more languages, but thats what I have heard him speak when visiting the place. He explains in details how each wine was made, where it was made and why it is unique. I have to mention that it was surprisingly cheap ! If you are a tourist or it is your first time in Georgia and you have not yet visited Kakheti, the main wine making part of Georgia, then visit this place to get to know to our culture more ! ”

“ Would recommend this place for a wine as the owner is quite knowledgeable but you should not want you want. Place is a bit damp as it sits in a cellar on the side of the street and smells a bit musky. There are some snacks you can order here. Whilst we where there there was a veil snack and local cheese, but don't expect this to replace your meal. ”

“ Bu & Khari is a MUST if you’re in Batumi (or within a four-hour drive), the natural wines are unique, balanced, and incredibly good! We loved the Pet-Nat Rosé, and the Amber was one of the best wines we tried in Georgia. It’s not entirely about the wines though, please Don’t miss their food!!! The menu changes daily, so we went back twice, and each time it was incredible. Some beautifully complex flavor combinations, such as; tomato carpaccio on herbed walnut purée, with a grassy-fresh olive oil and tart berries to perfectly balance the sweetness of sun-ripened tomatoes. and some perfectly simple and impeccably executed, such as; Lamb tenderloin with red wine reduction, blistered cherry tomatoes, caramelized root veggies, and fennel blossom. Don’t miss this place. ”
